R&D project "Cyclone model" with HTBLA Weiz

In the course of ongoing further development of the in-house pilot facility, a project was launched in 2009 together with the HTBLA Weiz (technical college). The two diploma candidates in the mechanical engineering faculty crafted a 1:6 model of a HURRITEC ST cyclone separator for this project.

The variable model will serve to optimise new cyclone geometries. The PM-Technologies engineers now have a facility to research and test the effect of design details under many different conditions.
